Your kitchen is so BIG!! I am incredibly envious of all that space. My entire house is around 900 sq. ft and our kitchen is tiny. It is also hooked onto the living room and dining room so upon entering, visitors are greeted by a view of everything but the bedrooms and bathroom. I am looking forward to seeing how you organize things - great idea!
I would be THRILLED with all that space, and so much storage! You Lucky Pup, You! I have a small, crowded, inefficient kitchen space, but I still have fun making cookies:)
Your kitchen is gorgeous! I'm going to be setting up a new kitchen soon, so I'm excited to see how you set yours up. Hopefully I can copy some of your ideas!
This series will be fun! Your kitchen is gorgeous...I think you're brave to have white cabinets with two [make that three!] boys in the house! I am most interested in the island and already want to know - what's the big metal circle on one end? Hubby & I are considering knocking out the dining room wall that separates that room from the kitchen and making one big room, and adding a large island.
Thanks everyone for all the kind words! I'm blushing a bit ;)....We are super lucky to have such a great space. It started out teeny-tiny until we expanded it around 8 years ago (I still cringe when I think about the process.)
Funny that those cabinets look white! They are a creamy color and have an antique wash.....they don't show fingerprints!!!! Crucial with all those boys! Shanna-those are bamboo cutting boards from costco. The round one has a stainless steel band around it.
I can so relate as I am blessed to have a large kitchen as well and everyone who comes to my house wants to see "where the magic happens". I have to admit that it stresses me a bit to keep everything looking perfect when people come by, particularly when I'm working on cookies, but it is the heart of our home. Plus, it's that time of year when everyone wants to clean up and reorganize so I'm excited to follow your blog in the weeks ahead. I know I'll learn something that will, without a doubt, put new energy into the time I spend in the kitchen, Can't wait!
I love this idea! I'm a bit of a sticky beak by nature (aren't we all?) and am always looking for new organisational ideas! New follower from the GFC hop :)
This looks amazing! I love the island in the middle and am very envious about the natural lighting you get! Fantastic! I look forward to Tuesdays to see the rest of it! Have a great day!
new follower from the gfc collective! i tend to throw everything into closets last minute when i know people are coming over haha, so i should probably organize my closets/cupboards soon! -- jackiejade.blogspot.com

Hello Kitchen, Its nice to meet you. You are hugh and very pretty. I love my kitchen but wish it was a little bit larger. I don't have a dishwasher that's me but to get a washer I would loose a cabinet..... enjoy all the space you have and cook and bake lots of good things. Andi
You know how much I love that blue. I could dive right into it. I'm so eager to see how you've organized your "inventory." I never thought to poke around when I was there. But this is such a great idea! It's like looking behind the stage in the wings and behind the set.
Lovely to have a tour of your beautiful kitchen to see where you make your wonderful creations. The dark blue wall is stunning. http://missbbobochic.blogspot.co.uk/
I love your site, and your kitchen! I have to admit though, I was disappointed by the date on this post... I was hoping I was a year late and could see it all at once! ;) ~Jody

Pretty kitchen. The blue really makes the white cabinets pop.
