Very cute! I'd love to see a tutorial on how you flooded this cookie. I like the way each "rib" looks separate. The only way I've done pumpkins is to flood the entire cookie and then add lines in after. Yours are much cuter!
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm not Lizy B, but I have done similar ones. Draw the outline around the outer edge, snd then draw slightly heavy curved lines inside. Then flood with thinner royal icing.
DeleteHi Vicci!
DeletePutting this on the tutorial list! Outline and draw ribs with a number 2 or 3 tip (I usually like 5 sections). Fill the center and outer sections with flood icing and let dry until set....anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour depending on your icing. Then fill in the other two sections! You could also do this without outlining and use 20-second icing. I like to outline...that's just me.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO Funny!
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome! I love a good stache on anything, but these are particularly perfect. Thanks for linking up at Wake Up Wednesdays! Pinning!

ReplyDeleteCutest pumpkins I've ever seen. Any words on how you did the "staches", eyes etc. Are they fondant? How did you "sparkle" the staches? Oh I hope I can do this too.
ReplyDeleteThese are so, so fun! How did you make the sparkly mustaches? I pinned this to my (CarlaINHouston) Halloween board!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to invite you to share this (and anything else pumpkin you'd like!) at the Perfectly Pumpkin Contest--you can see it at http://preschoolpowolpackets.blogspot.com/2013/10/2013-perfectly-pumpkin-contest.html I hope we see you there!
I made these cookies and they were a hit! Didn't need a tutorial, but I can't wait to do staches on other fruits and veggies:-) thanks!
