Cookies for The Flower Girl!

Last year I told you all about Lisa.

She's one of my best girlfriends,

and she has a fabulous flower shop named The Flower Girl.

Lisa has the most beautiful arrangements, succulents, orchids and her weddings!!!

To die for....seriously!

My most favorite though, are the hand-tied bouquets!

She'll gather up your favorites, arrange them perfectly,
then wrap them in bright tissue and kraft paper

(can you picture that, since I can't seem to find the fabulous picture that I took?)

and ties them with a huge bow...

I swear, you stroll away feeling like Audrey Hepburn!

It's magical!

So, around the holidays, Lisa asks me to bring in a few cookies.

I'm always hugely flattered and thrilled to bake for her!

Here's what I brought for Valentine's Day!

Everyone needs a hug and a kiss, right?

I've been dying to make these ruffly hearts!

I saw them on Oh Sugar! Events' blog

This was 100% their idea, but I had to make them!
(but this makes me nervous so please pop over there and check out
all their work...I'll wait)

My first try at brush embroidery!
(That's what you call the white smooshy edges around the pink heart up there)

I watched the tutorial over at

She started her very own YouTube channel full of video tutorials!
How awesome is that!

I'm off for another date with my mini munchkin!!
Back to the bookstore and maybe some shopping for Valentine's treats
for the whole family!

Don't forget to show your sweetie some love!!!

Thanks for stopping by,

Lizy B
