Breaking Dawn Craft Party (Baby Shower Cookies for Bella)

The other day I received a fabulous invitation from one of my favorite bloggy friends,

Marissa from Rae Gun Ramblings.

She's hosting an online crafty party for Breaking Dawn!

Her party guests could make any type of crafty item we'd like....
but everyone knows what happens if you invite a cookie lady to a party...

"I'll bring dessert!"

I made baby shower cookies for Bella, the new mommy!

Let's face it, poor little Renesmee will never find her name on anything...
so I personalized a cookie just for her.

(here comes the somewhat creepy part....)

I'm sure it's perfectly normal and expected in some parts of the world

to be betrothed at birth....but still.  It's weird.

Welcome to the party!

I hope you'll visit the rest of our guests!

Twilight Cookies

Hi....my name is Elizabeth....

and I love the Twilight Books.

So I thought I'd make a few Twilight Cookies!

I know....they're not exactly classic literature.

But I'm a sucker for a 'good girl saves edgy bad boy with great hair' love story.

For three and a half books, and four movies,

we waited with baited breath for the moment Bella became a vampire.

...And right at the last moment of movie number 4....

...there they were.

Bella's bright red vampire eyes.

And then the movie was over!

ACK!

Just like that!

So not fair.

But now the Breaking Dawn Part 2 is here!!!

Just a few more days.....

We get to see Renesmee!

Not quite sure how I'll feel about Jacob and this whole imprinting deal.

I'm hoping he'll just seem like the world's best nanny.

Mostly, I'm looking forward to Bella not being a clumsy mess.

She'll finally get to stand up for herself.

Finally.

I won't be there at midnight, or the first weekend...

but as soon as those kids are in school monday morning....

I'm there!

(popcorn is a perfectly respectable breakfast, right?)

See you at the movies!
